The YEEZY brand has a history of reinterpreting old hues, with shoes like the "Wash Orange" YEEZY BOOST 700 drawing heavily on the original "Wave Runner" design. The YEEZY 700 silhouette will now receive a "remix"; Rare Lab will take a closer look into the YEEZY 700 V3 "Mono Safflower".

The "Mono Safflower" is, as its name implies, a different colourway of the YEEZY 700 V3 "Safflower", which was introduced in Autumn 2020. The "Mono Safflower" has a primeknit top that is off-white with faint yellow stripes running across the midfoot area. A cream-white midsole and a gum outsole are paired with this.

The "Mono Safflower" includes a rubber toecap that is cream white in colour, matching the sole of the shoe, just like earlier YEEZY 700 V3 versions. The "Mono Safflower" also has an infinity lacing system and a black neoprene sockliner. The shoe also has the ubiquitous skeleton rubber cage that wraps around the whole upper; in this particular model, the cage is a translucent white.

The "Mono Safflower" will glow in the dark, just like the original "Safflower" model. However, the "Mono Safflower" will emit a pleasant orange glow in place of the original model's vivid green glow when the lights are turned off.

The "Mono Safflower" will include a comfy EVA foam cushioning system like all previous YEEZY 700 v3 models.
